ACAP Community Health Fair

iBridge Foundation as one of the sponsors,  congratulates ACAP(The Association of Chinese American Physicians) on successfully holding the Community Health Fair on May 23, 2021 at Queens Botanical Garden. 

The Association of Chinese American Physicians, together with the Eastern Chinese American Physician IPA, as well as a number of health insurance companies and health care institutions, held the annual event Community Health Fair at the Queens Botanical Garden on Sunday May 23, 2021.

The 14th Community Health Fair is aimed at improving community health. Experienced doctors are invited to discuss why “Why is Stomach Cancer so Common among Chinese Population” (Dr.Tong Jing ), “Feeling sad? Is that a Depression” (Dr. Da Wang), and “Cardiac CTA and Heartflow” (Main Street Medical Imaging Center), “Latest Update of Covid Vaccine” (Dr. Ziqiang Zhu), “Understanding Modern Pain Treatment” (Dr. Cong He), “Healthy Bone and Nutrition”(Dr. Ida Lam). Chair yoga and Self Defense (Hu Hui) interactive sessions are also introduced this year as part of the health fair.

In addition, physicians from different specialties such as cardiology, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, pain management, gynecology, oncology etc. also provide one-on-one health consultations to solve people’s health problems. Health care institutions provide free physical examinations such as blood oxygen, blood pressure, and hepatitis B tests. People participating in this event also have the opportunity to learn about the services of many health insurance companies, pharmacies and community health care institutions. The vendors will provide exquisite small gifts, toys for kids and lotteries.
